A python Bayesian MCMC routine to determine the exponentially quenched star formation history of a galaxy given it's optical and NUV photometry.
Scientific research cannot progress without the development of new software to revolutionise data analysis. Open source development within the academic community is key to achieveing this, which is something I strive for in my own work. I am therefore a strong advocate of the .Astronomy and Python in Astronomy conference series.
